Odisha government on Friday approved 10 industrial projects worth Rs 1923.60 crore that would generate employment opportunities for 5,170 people in the state, officials said.
Industries Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra said since 2020, the government "ensured grounding/inauguration of projects worth over Rs 30,000 crore, generating a potential employment of nearly 40,000 in the state".
The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) led by Chief Secretary S.C. Mahapatra approved the projects.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday virtually inaugurated three industrial projects worth Rs 436.93 crore. He also laid the foundations for 11 industrial projects with a cumulative investment of Rs 1,100.14 crore.
