An increase of 4,848 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours.

India's daily positivity rate has slightly jumped to 2.35 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate currently stands at 2.38 per cent.

The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.71 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 0.68 per cent, according to the ministry.

While, the weekly positivity rate stood at 0.63 per cent, the daily positivity rate reported a marginal rise of 0.71 per cent.
