Following the seizure of huge quantity of fake anti-covid drugs in Cuttack, people in various towns including in Berhampur city are panicked in apprehension of circulation of fake drugs in their home town.
A day after the State Drugs Control squad seized huge quantities of fake anti-covid drugs 'Favipiravir' in Cuttack, the State Health department has ordered a probe into the incident on Saturday.
Major consignments were received on May 23 and May 24 from United Arab Emirates (UAE), Singapore, Ontario (Canada), US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) and Nestle (Swiss India Chamber of Commerce). The foreign relief aid includes 20 oxygen concentrators, 540 oxygen cylinders and 536 ventilators or Bi-PAP or CPAP.
