The police on Wednesday arrested two more persons in connection with the racket involving the sale of spurious blood pressure medicines in Cuttack, taking the total number of arrests in the case to eight.
The traders and others in the business will be ousted from the association if they procure medicines from firms from outside the state instead of carrying out the deals through super stockists or C & F agents.
Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra informed that the seized drugs sold in the brand name of Telma-40 have been found to be fake following lab examination.
