The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have chased away a drone that came from Pakistan.
As many as 150 Maoist supporters also took pledges not to further help the members of the outlawed CPI (Maoist).
The TRF operatives were working at the behest of Pakistani handlers, a spokesperson of the federal agency said.

As per BSF, such gestures help build a peaceful atmosphere and cordial relationship between the two forces guarding the IB.
They said a massive search operation has been launched to trace any weapon or explosive that it might have dropped.
A BSF officer said all concerned have been informed and further details are awaited.

According to the BSF officials, the drone had entered Indian territory in the area falling near village Dhanoe Kalan in Amritsar sector at around 1.15 a.m.

During the flag meeting of the BSF and Bangladesh Border Guards (BGB), the Bangladeshi national was handed over to the BGB in a goodwill gesture.
