La Quinta (California): Indian golfer Arjun Atwal will tee up at the second full field event of the Humana Challenge from Thursday hoping to give his season a better start. Atwal missed the cut in the first event but will be aiming to better the showing this week.
The Humana Challenge is the first of three tournaments during the FedExCup portion of the schedule that uses more than one golf course. All three events occur in a four-week period beginning this week.
Atwal has been paired with professional John Senden and the two amateur partners for the first round are Brian Sears and Paul Porteous. Daniel Chopra, who also missed the cut last week, is on the waiting list for the main event.
