Two matric candidates die, 23 injured in road mishap

Angul: Two matriculation candidates died and 23 others were injured, three of them critically, when the mini-truck carrying the students turned turtle today at Gandamala village under Rengali police station in Angul district. The students of Susaba high school in Kaniha block were going in the mini-truck to their examination centre at Saradhapur high school. There were 25 students in the truck. The accident occurred as the driver of the mini-truck lost control over the steering. All the 23 injured students were first admitted to the hospital at Khamar while 22 of them were later shifted to the district headquarter hospital at Angul.
