It was Devi who was narrating a life with a difference. In the very next moment, it was Pappu Pommy talking incoherently. Tarang entertainment channel not just enchanted the viewers but awards, those were in plenty for the talented. That was Tarang Parivar Award -2011. The function was organised at the Parade Ground at Udit Nagar in Rourkela.
The stage was ready. The audience crooned with the stars and the foot-tapping numbers. The ambience was electrifying. It looked like an extended family get together for all those stars, serial artists, producers, directors and musicians and singers who had awefully tried to make Tarang the number one entertainment channel in the state.
The Udit Nagar parade Ground was bursting at the seams with hardly an inch of space left vacant. Best actor, best actress, best director, best producer awards were received amidst loud clapping and cheering.
Urban Development Minister Sarada Nayak, Managing Director of RSP, Gouri Shankar Prasad, Lok Sabha member Baijayanta Panda, Co-founder of OTV, Jagi Mangat Panda and Director of OTV network Bibhu Prasad Rath too were present throughout the glittering ceremony.
