School girls walk miles to convey grievances to Malkangiri collector

Malkangiri: Braving the scorching heat, as many as 50 girl students of Balimela Girls High School travelled on their feet to meet the district collector of Malkangiri today. The students met the collector to convey their grievances.

As per reports, the students of Balimela Girls High School walked nearly 3 kms on the streets from Balimela High School to the Office of the District Collector today, alleging that the school management has failed to resolve their problems even after repeated complaints.

In the meantime, 2 students were taken ill and admitted to the nearby hospital immediately.
