Bhubaneswar: In the wake of recent Plus II question paper leak case, sleuths of Crime Branch (CB) on Wednesday conducted raid on a residential college in the Mancheswar area here.

According to reports, a five member team of the CB led by Additional SP vetted all records involving admission and financial transactions of Royal College of Science and Technology.

It is too learnt that the officials interrogated some college functionaries during the exercise.

Earlier on March 25, officials of the investigating agency had arrested three staff of private colleges in western Odisha in connection with Plus-II Physics question paper leak.

CB Additional Director General Bijay Kumar Sharma had said Principal of Lambodhar College of Science Saroj Kumar Mohanty under Junagarh police limits in Kalahandi district, Sundargarh-based Chaitanya College of Education Secretary Rajendra Prasad Malla and Chairman of Omm Maa Saraswati Institute of Science and Technology Akshay Kumar Rath were arrested following raids on these colleges.

During the probe, it was revealed that the trio had a deal with the Deputy Secretary of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Sambalpur Zone Devendranath Behera to get question papers.

Earlier, CB had arrested Behera, Chairman of Sandilya College of Science and Commerce, Sambalpur Kartik Barik and another person in connection with the leak on March 11.
