Bhubaneswar: Odisha Housing and Urban Development minister Pushpendra Singhdeo today said that the government will complete the investigation of flat, house and plot allotments under housing schemes which have been made before 1995.

The action came two days after the State government, apprehending irregularities even before the official announcement of such schemes in 1995, decided to review all the schemes launched by developing agencies of the State since their inception.

A government order to this effect has been sent to Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA), Odish State Housing Board and General Administration department (GAD), sources said. escinsel muhabbet

In the letter the government has asked to find out names of all the beneficiaries and their supporting documents. During investigation, the agencies would vet documents of the allottees supporting their claim to avail the scheme, an official said.

“Show cause notices will be sent to all the six thousand beneficiaries including those who have availed flats or plots under discretionary quota. In case of any irregularities, notice will be sent to the beneficiaries for cancellation of flats or plots,” Singh said.
