Bonai: Police today arrested a retired employee of the SAIL suspecting him to have links with the Maoists. The security forces detain the retire employee during combing operation in Jhirpani area.

Birsa Munda (60) was involved in several Maoist activites in the Koida police limits of Bonai sub-division of Sundargarh district, Additional Superintendent of Police Sudarshan Sethy told reporters here. Eight bundles of gelatine wire, ten electrical detonators and twelve live catridges were seized from him, the ASP added.
