Cuttack: Reiterating their demands for justice over massive irregularities in the conduct of Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), scores of candidates on Saturday once again hit the streets and staged demonstration in front of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) office in Cuttack.

Hundreds of candidates from various corners of the State were seen gathering before the board office to stage demonstration alleging the authorities of being unapologetic towards discrepancies in the question paper.

Demanding justice, several candidates alleged that there have been massive errors in the question paper and the answer key released thereafter, so those who were unsuccessful in the entrance should be included in the merit list. Many others also questioned the timing of the release of the key during Durga Puja vacation.

“The board should create accountability so that those involved in the question paper lapses should get punishment. If that does not happen, we will gherao Chief Minister’s residence to present our demands before CM Naveen,” said a candidate.

Despite several attempts, comments of BSE and the concerned department authorities could not be obtained.
