Bhubaneswar: Members of Odisha Green Card Holder Women’s Association (OGHWA) on Wednesday demonstrated a mass rally at several places in state capital to fulfill their various demands. The association staged a road blockade at Uttara square on Bhubaneswar-Puri highway in the morning completely affecting vehicular traffic on the road. 
  
The protesters who threatened for an indefinite strike demanded allowances for green card holders, lands for have-nots, jobs and fare reduction in trains/ buses.

Similarly members of the association in hundreds sat on dharna at Phulnakhara making the vehicular movement to a grinding halt for nearly five hours. The irked protesters asked the fulfillment of a six-charter point demand assured by the state government.
