Bhubaneswar: A day after dismissal from the primary membership of the Congress, former party MLA from Koraput, Krushna Sagaria today opened up about his future prospects and said that there is no such plan to join the ruling-BJD or the BJP.

Sagaria said that since he had relinquished his MLA post while protesting the government’s inaction in connection with the Kunduli case, there is no question of joining the BJD.

He further added, “If people reject me, and I am given the option to join the BJP, I will rather fry pakodas on the street than join the saffron party.”

Asked about his reaction over the dismissal from the party, the former MLA clarified that he had always been a loyal worker but the party has been unfair to him.

“As an MLA and a disciplined member of the Congress, I have never gone against the party rather I have always dedicated myself to work for its upliftment," he said.

Spewing venom against the Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra, Sagaria claimed that the senior leader has direct links with the third floor of the Secretariat. The ex-MLA also stated that he had apprised the AICC about the RSS link of Opposition chief whip Tara Bahinipati.

However, comments from Bahinipati and Mishra could not be obtained.
