Rayagada: A Maoist camp was busted during a joint operation of CRPF and police at Chandrapur police station area in Rayagada district last night.
 
The security forces seized huge cache of Maoist materials including a tiffin bomb, claymore mine, potassium nitrate (explosive), detonator, wire and battery at Gadargudi forest, police sources said.
 
However, no rebel has been arrested during the operation. Police suspected the hand of top Maoist leader Nikhil of Basadhara division behind the camp.
 
“We have seized Maoist materials including uniforms, red banner and explosives last night at Gadargudi forest and operation is still going on in the forest. We suspect the hand of Basadhara division behind the camp,” Bisamkatak SDPO Suresh Chandra Jena said.
