Berhampur: The excise superintendent of Berhampur Barendra Nath Dhal was today seriously in an attack by some liquor vendors at Saurapalli under Khallikote police station.

A team of excise party had gone to Saurapalli to conduct raids when it was attacked by the mafia. Barendra Nath Dhal has been admitted to the MKCG hospital in a critical condition.
