Bhadrak: Four persons, including two women, were killed and three others critically injured when the jeep carrying them collided with a stationery truck in Bhadrak district Friday, the police said.
 
The accident occurred near Chhatabar under Bhandaripokhari police station on NH-5 as the jeep, bearing registration number of West Bengal, rammed into the truck in front of a road side eatery.
 
Four occupants of the jeep died on the spot and three were injured. Two of them were shifted to SCB Medical College Hospital at Cuttack as their condition deteriorated.
 
The other one was undergoing treatment in the district headquarter hospital here, police said.
 
The victims who were yet to be identified, were believed to be tourists from West Bengal.
