Bhubaneswar: Board of Secondary Education (BSE) is geared up with elaborate arrangements for the Matric examination 2013 beginning from Monday.
 
As many as 5 lakh regular and over 63,000 ex-regular students will be appearing the examination with a newly introduced question-cum-answers booklet.
 
As per the board’s guidelines, students will be allowed to enter the examination hall at 8:20 am and will later be provided with question-cum-answers booklet at 8:45 am. And the exam will start at 9 am.
 
The board which is fully prepared to conduct examination at 2500 centres across Odisha has introduced new guidelines to ensure smooth functioning of the examination.
 
Teachers of the respective schools across the state will be swapped with different centres. This apart, the teachers of the particular subject will not be allowed to conduct the exam of the same subjects.
 
Three tier squad and special flying squad will be pressed into service at centres to keep a watch on the students involved in malpractice. At least 301 nodal centres have been made to store the newly introduced question-cum-answers booklets which are guarded by the security personnel for 24hrs.
