Bhubaneswar: The state government has handed over the investigations of the matriculation question paper theft cases to the Crime Branch and steps were being taken to publish the result of the matriculation regular examination between June 30 to first week of July. This was disclosed by the school and mass education minister Pratap Jena in the state assembly while participating in the discussion on the issue.

The minister told the house that the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, has been asked to take all necessary steps to publish the result of the matriculation regular examination between June 30 to first week of July. The minister assured the house that the examinees would not face any hurdles for admissions into intermediate and other courses if the result could be published by the stipulated time.
