Bolangir: A day after the gruesome triple murder case in Mayurbhanj, another shocking incident took place in Bolangir district in which five members of a family were killed in a group clash in the early hours of Sunday. Three persons allegedly involved in the brutal crime were arrested, police said.
 
Ramel Thappa of Thapaapali village had a long standing previous enmity with his neighbour Majhi family which ended with the bloody incident today. A heated argument between two families triggered the violence prompting Majhi family to eliminate Ramel Thappa and his four sons, Kapila, Kunu,Jagadish and Madrasi.  
 
Police arrested three members of Majhi family and seized bodies of all the deceased for postmortem. A case has been registered and investigation is on, police added.
 
Notably, a domestic violence prompted an inebriated man to axe three of his family members including parents in Karanjia of Mayurbhanj district on Saturday. The trio died on the spot and the accused was arrested.
