Some days back, when Krushna suddenly became unconscious after his return from work, he was admitted into MKCG Medical College and Hospital with the help of locals. There he was found with a rare disease which is also very expensive. And he has been in comatose condition since then.
Krushna belongs to Bangarada village of Digapahandi block of Ganjam district and is the only son to his parents. Since Krushna’s father was very poor — he had to discontinue with his studies and joined his father who earns his daily wages.
The moment OTV got the news about Krushna’s condition — and understood the urgency of the situation, the channel contacted the sub-collector of Berhampur and the Medical Superintendent of the MKCG Hospital.
Meanwhile, Red Cross has agreed to pitch in and take care of some of his medical expenses. And the charges of ICU and medicine will be borne by the MKCG Hospital, said Prof. Jogendra Prasad Behera, Superintendent of MKCG Medical College and Hospital.
