Cuttack: Hours after a suspect allegedly escaped from SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, he was again nabbed by police following high-drama that unfolded near the residence of the suspect’s lawyer in the city.
The suspect who escaped from police custody from the hospital was traced at his lawyer's residence and was nabbed again by police.
However, the suspect made some startling revelations before he was taken into custody again by cops. He alleged that the cops, who were on duty at the hospital, actually asked him to flee and even gave him Rs 50.
As per allegations, he was picked up by police from Brahmagiri on December 12, 2019. Later, the family members traced him at Biridi Police station on December 14. However, after that, his family members were unable to trace him and moved the High Court.
After his family members approached the court, Police helped him escape, the accused alleged.
