Ranchi/Bhubaneswar: Former Mayurbhanj MP from BJD Laxman Tudu who resigned from the party on Saturday, joined the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) during a party function in Ranchi.

Tudu joined the party in presence of JMM president Shibu Soren during the Central Committee meeting of the party in Ranchi.

Yesterday, Tudu had resigned from the BJD alleging that several senior leaders were being ignored within the party and claimed that the actual party workers were side-lined and treated as foreigners.

“The senior leaders, who actually played a crucial role in forming the BJD, are being ignored. Foreigners are now ruling the party,” rued Tudu rued while announcing his resignation.

Tudu had further said even though he apprised the party president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik about it, he didn’t pay any heed to his concern.

He was representing Mayurbhanj Lok Sabha constituency from 2009 to 2014.
