Photo Of Youth Speaking On Mobile Phone Inside Puri Srimandir Goes Viral

Puri: A picture of a youth speaking on mobile phone from inside Puri Srimandir premises went viral of social media today.

In the photo, a youth, who is yet to be identified, could be seen speaking on mobile phone while standing on 'Chahani Mandap' inside the premises of Jagannath Temple where phones and cameras are strictly prohibited.

Earlier on November 25, a picture of a youth selling Mahaprasad inside Ananda Bazaar of Srimandir went viral on various social media platforms.

Similarly, a girl from Nirakarpur area was detained for shooting a TikTok video inside Srimandir and subsequently posting it on Facebook.

It may be noted that the entry of mobile phones and other electronic gadgets into the temple are strictly prohibited. However, pictures clicked inside the temple despite the ban have time and again raised doubts over the security arrangements at the temple.
