Bhubaneswar: Over 40,000 aspirants are writing the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) at 72 centres across 20 towns of the State today.

The examination is being held in two sittings even as Bhubaneswar alone has 16 exam centres. While the students wrote two papers in first sitting that being at 9 am, the final sitting would be conducted between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm.

The entrance test would select candidates for admission to MBA, MCA, MTech, MPharm and other related courses in various government-run and private institutes of the state.

The OJEE authorities had made elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of the examination, sources said.
