Vigilance case against Mishra: HC directs probe agency to submit case diary

Bhuabneswar: Orissa High Court on Wednesday directed the State Vigilance department to submit the audit report and case diary while hearing a petition filed by former DGP Prakash Mishra.

The court also said no further action can be taken against Mishra until further orders and fixed November 19 for next hearing.

Further, the HC added the vigilance case against Mishra would not be a hurdle for his future appointment.

On the other hand, the state government asked for time to submit the case diary in the court.

Notably, Mishra had filed the petition in the HC to direct the state government to quash the vigilance case against him.
