New Delhi: Union Railway Minister DV Sadananda Gowda announced new trains like Hatia-Rourkela Passenger, Paradip-Visakhapatnam weekly express and Sambalpur-Rourkela train for six days a week for Odisha in Rail Budget on Tuesday.
In the budget Gowda has also proposed extension of Howrah-Belda MEMU train up to Jaleswar. Two premium trains Shalimar-Chennai and Bengaluru-Kamakhya express will now pass through Odisha.
Moreover, the railway budget proposed for the construction of railway line between Nayagarh in Keonjhar district to Banspani for transportation of iron ore.
