Puri/Bhubaneswar: Lie detection test on Ramachandran Subash, the prime accused in the train fire case at Puri station on November 12, will be conducted on Monday as per the directive of a local Puri court.

According to reports, the test of Subash will be conducted at the State Forensic Science Lab in Bhubaneswar.

Earlier, a team of CID officials from Kharagpur had questioned Subash in connection with a similar incident in Kharagpur.

Meanwhile, the National Investigating Agency (NIA) SP Prashant Kumar had questioned Subash on November 28 after the Union Home Ministry officially handed over the investigation of the case to the central agency.

It is worth mentioning that the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Puri on December 2 had allowed the GRP to take Subash on a fresh six-day remand for further interrogation.
