Bhubaneswar: School and Mass Education minister Debi Prasad Mishra today said results of annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination, conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE), will be declared in the first week of May.

Though preparations for publication of the results have reached final stages, a re-checking of answer sheets is currently being carried out to ensure an error-free result, the minister added. The exact date of announcement of the results will be informed by the BSE to the department soon, he said.

As many as 5,92,000 students had appeared for the matriculation exams which was held from February 23 to March 9 in the State. This year, most of the students had sit for the examination in their own schools.
