Koraput: Five country-made guns and huge quantity of gun-making items were seized by the security personnel of Ralegada and 120 Battalion jawans during combing operations in a forest on the Odisha-Andhra Pradesh border on Sunday.

The operation was carried out by the security personnel in Turukupadu-Metabalsa forest.

Though the arms were seized by the jawans, no Maoist was present at the spot.
