Bhubaneswar: The Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) has sent 167 files to the Vigilance department in plot and flat allotment scam case. This apart, the development agency has also issued notices to 30 beneficiaries, who were allotted more than one plots/flats, and asked them to reply within 30 days, a CDA official said today.
The Vigilance department had asked the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA), Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) and the General Administration department (GAD) last month submit some files related to multiple allotments of plots and houses under discretionary quota.
The Vigilance department has been assigned the investigation into the scam after the Chief Minister’s Office ratified the modalities for implementation of the Task Force’s recommendations.
