The Ollywood actor along with his friends allegedly thrashed one Ankit Das over a minor tiff following which a complaint was registered at Nayapalli Police Station.
The scuffle broke out when the actor along with his friends came and beat Ankit while he was talking to one of his friends named Debasish over his cell phone. Das has alleged that the actor and his friends were in an inebriated state.
After the incident Das lodged a complaint and demanded quick action against the actor and compensation from him.
“He came and snatched my mobile away and started abusing me. I have lodged a complaint against him and I demand quick action against. I also demand a compensation from him,” victim Ankit Das said.
Meanwhile, veteran actor and Babusan’s father Uttam Mohanty has denied the allegations of beating and has termed the whole issue as a minor scuffle between his son and the complainant. According to Mohanty, the scuffle took place as Das on seeing Babusan started using foul language against the actor.
As a result a minor spat broke out between the two when Babusan protested against Das’s use of foul language.
“According to Babusan the guy started using foul language on seeing him. Hence, there was a mere scuffle between the duo as Babusan protested,” veteran Ollywood actor and Babusan’s father Uttam Mohanty said.
