Odisha man wins APJ Abdul Kalam Professional Excellence Award

Bhubaneswar: Odisha's Stalin Mishra won the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Professional Excellence Award 2018 in social work and youth empowerment.

Mishra, who works in an IT company in Bengaluru, was honoured during an international seminar held at Chandra Sehkhar Azad Government PG College in Sehore of Madhya Pradesh.

The award was jointly given by APJ Abdul Kalam Research Center and University of Swahili, Panama.

"Being the first Odia recipient of this prestigious award, I dedicate this award to the people of Odisha," said Mishra in his Facebook post.
