Odisha: Man Hacks Wife To Death Over Alleged Illicit Affair

Telkoi: In a gruesome act, a woman was allegedly hacked to death by her enraged husband following a heated argument at Rugudisahi village under Nayakote police limits on Friday evening.

The accused, identified as Jadu Mahakud, who was absconding after killing his wife Banita Mahakud, has been arrested.

The police recovered the body of the deceased and sent it for autopsy.

According to police sources, Jadu was suspecting his wife of having illicit relation with another person and hacked her with an axe. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
