Rourkela: Maoist posters demanding money from a construction company have created tension among the business community in Jhirpani area near here on Friday.

The posters demand 15 per cent cut from the Rs two crore bridge project on the river Koel from its Cuttack based constructor, police said.

Last year an employee of the company was abducted and released later by the Maoists after payment of ransom, police said. Himansu Lal, SP Rourkela said, "the persons involved in the incident have already been identified."
