Liquor shop salesman murdered

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, four miscreants allegedly murdered the salesman of a liquor shop in Samantarapur area in the city and fled after looting the cash available with him on late Monday night.

According to sources, the assailants intercepted Aditya Pradhan when he was returning home on his bike with a pillion rider after shutting the shop and attacked him with dagger. Pradhan was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition, but he succumbed to the injuries during treatment.

On being informed, DCP Satybrata Bhoi reached the spot with other officials and started investigations.

A similar incident had taken place at a liquor shop near Khandagiri last year.
