Itishree murder: Former HM grilled by CBI

Raygada: As part of its investigation into the Tikiri upper primary school lady teacher, Itishree Pradhan’s murder, CBI quizzed the former head master of the school Chandra Sekhar Panda yesterday. CBI sleuths grilled Panda, assistant teacher of the school Jogeswar Benya and cook Sashi Bhusan Nayak from 10 am to 5 pm yesterday.

Sources said the interrogation of Panda will be also conducted today. Besides, the probe agency also interrogated the locals of Rayagada regarding the sensational murder case.

Itishree was set afire by unidentified miscreants in October 2013. She was admitted to Rayagada hospital with severe burn injuries and later shifted to Seven Hills hospital in Vishakhapatnam where she succumbed to her injuries.
