Bhubaneswar: While four from Odisha not only made it to 'The Indian Express' power list 2019 but also registered an increase in ranks, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tumbled from 30th in 2018 to the 39th rank.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who continues to hold the powerful Petroleum and Natural Gas portfolio in Modi 2.0, has been ranked 14th in the list. He was at the 32nd position in 2018.

A big jump has been seen in the rank of Pramod Kumar Mishra due to his elevation as Principal Secretary (Cabinet Rank) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His name is now featured at 19th rank against his earlier 44th rank in 2018.

Another bureaucrat from Odisha, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das is now at 29th rank against his previous 62nd rank. His leading role in RBI in bringing down interest rates and managing liquidity in the economy has been attributed as the reason behind his rise in the rankings.
