Bhubaneswar: Odisha Diploma Entrance Test and Odisha Joint Entrance Examination for the year 2013 will be held on May 5 and 12 respectively, Technical Education and Training Minister Pratap Keshari Deb said.
 
Around 70,000 candidates have applied to appear in the diploma test at 186 centers while 1 lakh, 28,000 students will attend OJEE at 180 centers across the State and outside. At least 145 centers have been made in the State and 35 centers outside the State. The rank cards and admit cards will be available in the web site only, official sources said.
 
The minister earlier declared in the State Assembly to constitute a committee to streamline the OJEE. The committee comprising DGP, RDC and department Secretary would convene first meeting after Assembly session is over, he had told House. Apart from that, CCTV cameras would be installed at all exam centers as part of the method to streamline the examination process. Permission will not be given to any center to conduct test without CCTV cameras, Deb had informed Assembly.
 
Besides, the Crime Branch will be involved in the process from the beginning to prevent any question paper leaks or any other disturbances, he had said.
