Bhubaneswar: Congress MLAs including Narasimha Mishra on Friday met Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on the premises of State Assembly here.
Sources said the meeting of the MLAs was a courtesy call on the chief minister. Prafulla Majhi, Jogesh Singh, Subala Sahu were among others who accompanied Mishra to the CM’s chamber.
Finance minister Pradip Amat, Panchayati Raj minister of state Arun Sahu, Food and Supply minister of state Sanjay Das Burma were also present during the meeting.
“We will try to make Odisha a progressive state. While avoiding narrow politics, we will give our best efforts to make it one of the developed states,” Mishra told mediapersons.
