Chit fund scam: BJD leader Ashis Sahu questioned

Bhubaneswar: BJD’s executive member Ashis Sahu appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday in connection with multi-thousand Artha Tatwa Group (AT) scam.

Sources said Sahu is a close associate of an MLA having alleged links with AT Group. His name also came up in an audio CD in which there was conversation about money transaction between AT Group chief Pradeep Sethy and the MLA through the BJD executive member.

Sources said Sahu was quizzed regarding that CD and his links with the chit fund company.

Businessman Manoj Das was also interrogated by the central probe agency today. This is the fourth time Das is being questioned in connection with duping case.
