Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actress Chinmayee Priyadarshini is in news again. After she was accused of duping three youths on pretext of marriage and job, a businessman from Cuttack has alleged that the actress and his male friend Devraj have duped Rs 11 lakh from him.

As per the allegation, Chinmayee and Devraj had taken Rs 11 lakh from the businessman and promised to return it after the premier of one of their movies. However, they are yet to return the money even after almost two years. Moreover, they reportedly threatened the businessman of dire consequences when he asked them to repay the amount.

Meanwhile, the businessman has released an audio recording of his conversation with Devraj to substantiate his allegations. However, Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahoo has said that action can be taken against the duo only after a complaint is filed.

Earlier, a businessman from Jharsuguda had alleged that Chinmayee duped him of Rs 2.70 lakh on the pretext of marriage and when he requested her to return the money she allegedly threatened him stating that she has contacts with some top politicians in the State.

Besides, Chinmayee has also been accused of duping a Bhubaneswar youth of Rs 10,000 on the pretext of landing him a job in movies. A youth from Andhra Pradesh had also earlier accused the actress of defrauding him of Rs 2 lakh on the pretext of marriage.

Though the youth from Andhra later approached the Commissionerate Police, Chinmayee refuted the allegations and said that she did not even know the youth.
