New Delhi: Justice Arijit Pasayat, the vice chairman of Supreme Court appointed SIT to probe cases of black money, said investigating the cases will be a challenging task.

The retired judge of the apex court added if the team gets all kinds of cooperation and assistance from the government definitely it is possible to be successful in the job.

Further, he said, “The law of other countries will try to project their view points. The job of coordinating with them and be successful in investigation are certainly challenging.

“I think we have the expertise to get over all this,” Pasayat added.

The ultimate objective of the SIT is to bring back the black money into India and utilize them for benefits of people of the country, he explained.

Recently the apex court appointed its retired judges M B Shah as Chairman and Pasayat as Vice Chairman of SIT for providing guidance and direction in the investigation of all cases of black money in the country and abroad.
