Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today stressed on adopting new strategies to reach out to the people of the State. He urged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders to work towards turning the youth into ambassadors of the government's public welfare schemes while addressing hundreds of Youth Ambassador Monitors at the ‘New Odisha Youth Ambassador Meet’ here.

Organised under the chairmanship of Bharatiya Yuva Jana Morcha (BYJM) president Tankadhar Tripathy at the State Headquarters, the meeting discussed various issues relating to youths and their aspirations.

The youth ambassador monitors came from all 30 districts of the state.

Laying emphasis on the use of social media, Pradhan exhorted everyone to download the Modi App to know about all centrally sponsored schemes and make other people aware of the same. “The present era youth depends on mobile phones more than newspapers and TV channels to get information, so there is a need to use this medium of communication to reach out to them,” he added.

He also asked the activists to make the people aware of the successful schemes and programmes of the Centre and the State Government apathy towards various sectors, particularly in generating employments, and poor governance.
