Man kills wife, hangs self to death in Bargarh 

Bargarh: In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife and later hanged himself to death at Charpali village in Bargarh district this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Bhuban Sahu and his wife Sebati. The couple has three children.

Sources said, Bhuban, who is mentally-challenged, attacked his wife with a sharp weapon and hacked her to death. She died on the spot. Later, Bhuban committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of the house.

Bijepur Police station IIC Prakash Karna said, "On getting information, we rushed to the spot and found Sebati's body lying in a pool of blood and the severed head lying beside it. Body of her husband Bhuban was also found hanging in the house."

Investigation is on in connection with the incident, he added.
