CHSE strong room in-charge in Vigilance net

Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Saturday conducted raid on the residence of Surya Narayan Mahanty, working as strong room in-charge at the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, the anti-corruption wing has conducted simultaneous searches in at least six places including Mahanty’s residence at Forest Park, two other houses at Samantrapur and Jyotsna Garden Apartment.

The houses of his relatives are also being searched to unearth possession of disproportionate assets, official sources said.

Further details in connection with the vigilance raid are awaited.
