Bike Lifting Gang Busted In Cuttack, 5 Arrested

Cuttack: Close on the heels of a  busting a bike lifting gang while probing a theft of a pick-up van, Commissionerate Police on Tuesday busted another racket by arresting five members of the gang.

As per reports, Badambadi Police recovered 22 stolen motorcycles which were lifted by the criminal gang from different parts of the city.

On October 24, the Commissionerate Police had busted a major bike lifting gang while conducting probe into the theft of a pick-up van under Jagatpur police limits. Five persons- who were members of the bike lifting gang- were arrested and 35 stolen motorcycles have been recovered from their possession following a raid in Keonjhar district.
