Australian woman on epic sea journey, reaches Gopalpur

Gopalpur: An Australian woman kayaker, Sandy Robson, on Monday reached Gopalpur beach in Ganjam district after making countless paddle strokes through the ebb and tide of the seas and oceans.

The 48-year old kayaker started his epic sea journey from Germany in 2011. She targets to reach Australia via Bangladesh in 2016.

“I am spending five years paddling across the world from Germany back to Australia… Purpose of this is to retrace the historic journey of Oscar Speck. Yes, I am retracing his journey across the world,” said Robson with a big smile on her face.
