Bhubaneswar: Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan on Thursday attended a programme of a social organization as an ambassador at Balipatana on the outskirt of Bhubaneswar.

Soon after he reached the airport, he was given warm welcome by the organization members and his fans. Joining the programme, he kicked off special drive to eradicate seven diseases like Filaria. He focused on complete eradication of seven diseases like Filiria from the country by the end of 2014.

On his first trip to Odisha, he said that he would visit again to enjoy the natural scenery of the state.
